Material Description
PA12 filament for Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) 3D printing is a high-performance nylon known for its excellent balance of strength, durability, and precision. Unlike FDM materials, MJF PA12 parts are produced with near-isotropic mechanical properties, giving them consistent strength in all directions. PA12 offers superior wear resistance, dimensional accuracy, and surface finish compared to standard FDM nylons, making it ideal for functional prototypes, production parts, and end-use components. It is widely used in automotive, aerospace, and consumer products where strong, lightweight parts are required. Compared to FDM materials, MJF PA12 sits above unfilled nylons and close to carbon fibre composites in terms of performance, while remaining more versatile and cost-effective for production runs.
